Abstract

The dataset presents the vulnerability of the fractured bedrock aquifer. The study area includes contiguous watersheds of Yamaska and Richelieu rivers, and the Missisquoi Bay. The regional bedrock aquifer was evaluated using the DRASTIC method. The geologic contexts have variable vulnerabilities. The Monteregian context, designating the significative recharge areas, show low or intermediate vulnerabilities due to the high slopes and water table depth. The north platform, characterised by a thick clayey sediments unit, shows low vulnerability. The south platform exhibits semi-captive conditions due to the variable thickness of till covering the bedrock.
